What is DonorSync?
DonorSync is a web based application, which connects Virtuous to Blackbaud’s Financial Edge NXT product so your donations are always in sync with your accounting system.
We know it can be tedious or very difficult to map all of your projects to accounts. Some organizations even have custom rules for mapping based on credit or debit accounts or other rules. We’ve built a product that take the complexity out of your accounting sync.
After a one-time setup process, you’ll have a way to consistently sync gifts with related projects from Virtuous into Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT. This sync process can be done manually or automatically, you choose.
Batches are synced to journal entries in Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT with transaction codes.
Our platform effortlessly creates and manages journal entries from Virtuous Gifts, allowing for flexible modifications that cater to your needs. Entries have a credit for each designation and a debit for balancing to align with your specific accounting structure. Simplify your processes further with options to consolidate debits into totals per account, utilizing default or custom mappings based on projects or gift types.
